Job summary

Tamarind Intelligence is seeking an experienced cloud architect to design and manage secure, scalable AWS infrastructure across multi-account environments. You will shape governance, networking, IAM, security, and compliance, including FedRAMP and GovCloud.

This role emphasizes hands-on cloud engineering, architectural guidance, and infrastructure as code using CloudFormation, Terraform, or CDK. You will mentor engineers, drive best practices, participate in disaster recovery, optimize costs,

Qualifications

• 5+ years of cloud architecture experience with AWS.
• Deep knowledge of multi-account governance and security controls.
• Hands-on experience with AWS Control Tower, Landing Zone, and GovCloud.
• Familiarity with SOC 2, ISO 27001, HIPAA, FedRAMP compliance.
• IaC using CloudFormation, Terraform, or CDK.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement AWS account structures and governance using Organizations.
• Deploy and manage AWS Control Tower for automated provisioning and controls.
• Architect Landing Zone for secure multi-account environments and GovCloud.
• Create multi-region VPCs, routing, and security controls (VPN, Direct Connect, Transit Gateway).
• Develop IAM policies, federation, and least-privilege access while ensuring governance.
• Lead security and compliance programs, and document architecture standards.
• Mentor engineers on AWS architecture, security best practices, and IaC.
• Support disaster recovery planning and cost optimization initiatives.
