Job summary

3M Consultancy is seeking an experienced AWS Cloud Infrastructure Architect to design, implement, and govern a secure AWS environment for a remote-first organization. The role emphasizes multi-account governance, advanced networking, IAM and security controls, with hands-on leadership and collaboration across engineering teams to deliver scalable cloud solutions.

You will work on AWS Control Tower, Landing Zone Architecture, GovCloud deployments, and compliance with SOC 2, ISO 27001, and FedRAMP

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in cloud architecture.
• 3+ years specifically on AWS.
• Experience designing multi-account AWS environments.
• Knowledge of IAM, networking, and security controls.
• Experience with IaC (CloudFormation, Terraform).

Responsibilities

• Design and implement AWS account structure using AWS Organizations.
• Configure VPCs, VPNs, and Direct Connect across regions.
• Establish IAM policies, roles, and federation.
• Implement security controls and compliance (SOC2, ISO 27001, FedRAMP).
• Manage governance using Control Tower and Landing Zone.
• Develop infrastructure as code and architectural documentation.
• Mentor engineering teams and participate in DR planning.
• Optimize cloud costs and resource usage.
