Job summary

Leidos seeks a Senior Cloud Engineer/Architect (AWS) to lead design, implementation, and security of DoD-grade AWS and multi-cloud solutions at Fort Belvoir or Albuquerque. You will define tech requirements, run feasibility studies, and guide pilot projects to operational status.

Ideal candidates have deep AWS IAM expertise, federation, and zero-trust experience, with DoD-style governance and strong communication skills for leadership briefings.

Qualifications

• Active AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate.
• Active DoD Top Secret clearance with SCI Eligibility.
• DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification at time of consideration.
• 5+ years designing AWS-based solutions in enterprise/government.
• Hands-on with Terraform, CloudFormation, and AWS CLI.
• Strong experience with IAM, Identity Center, and multi-cloud.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and secure AWS aligned with DoD objectives.
• Lead deployment and management of AWS Identity Center for IAM.
• Architect federated identity & SSO with Entra ID, Okta, or PingFederate.
• Develop IAM governance, RBAC, and SCPs per zero-trust.
• Ensure multi-cloud connectivity and policy enforcement.
• Document architecture diagrams and compliance mappings.
