Job summary

Halian is seeking an experienced AWS Architect to lead the design of enterprise-grade Agentic AI platforms on AWS from Reading, PA onsite. You will define target-state architecture, governance, security, and observability across AI agents and workloads.

You will drive architectural standards for Bedrock, SageMaker, Knowledge Bases, and AgentCore, while guiding teams on integrative patterns, cost governance, and security controls.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of cloud architecture experience with AWS.
• Proven design of large-scale AWS solutions and enterprise platforms.
• Deep knowledge of AWS Bedrock, AgentCore, SageMaker, Knowledge Bases, and Generative AI services.
• Experience with Agentic AI frameworks such as LangGraph, LangChain, CrewAI, Strands, or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of cloud observability, monitoring, distributed tracing, and logging architectures.
• Infrastructure as Code experience with Terraform.

Responsibilities

• Define target-state architecture for enterprise Agentic AI platforms on AWS.
• Provide architectural leadership for AI agents running on AWS AgentCore Runtime.
• Establish architecture standards, governance models, and best practices for the AIDLC.
• Evaluate and recommend Agentic AI frameworks (e.g., LangGraph, LangChain, CrewAI, Strands).
• Architect scalable Bedrock Knowledge Bases, Knowledge Graphs, and RAG solutions.
• Define reference architectures for Bedrock, Bedrock Inference Profiles, and SageMaker workloads.
• Define enterprise observability strategies for AI workloads and distributed systems.
• Design monitoring architectures using CloudWatch, X-Ray, Dynatrace, and OpenTelemetry.
• Define cloud cost governance, tagging, and chargeback models for AI workloads.
• Develop runbooks and self-service support models.
