Job summary

Amazon Web Services, Inc. in Seattle is seeking a Senior Solutions Architect to lead hands-on design and delivery with large consulting partners, focusing on agentic AI, GenAI patterns, and AWS services.

You will build prototypes and systems using Bedrock, AgentCore, Lambda, Step Functions, and EventBridge, creating reusable patterns and scalable architectures across international engagements.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, or infrastructure.
• 3+ years designing, building, and deploying applications on AWS or equivalent cloud platforms.
• Proficiency in Python, Java, TypeScript, or Go with ability to build customer-facing apps and automation.
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code and CI/CD pipeline design.
• Experience working with large consulting partners is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and deploy solutions on AWS alongside partner engineering teams from proof-of-concept to delivery.
• Architect agentic systems using Bedrock, AgentCore, Step Functions, Lambda, and EventBridge.
• Work embedded within partner teams; pair-program, review code, debug distributed systems, iterate quickly.
• Create reusable assets like reference implementations, starter kits, deployment templates, and docs.
• Own the technical relationship with large consulting partner customers as a trusted hands-on advisor.
• Drive adoption by delivering working software and turning proof-of-concept into reusable patterns.
• Contribute thought leadership through blogs, whitepapers, and open-source projects.
• Act as voice of the partner; feedback to AWS service teams and feature requests.
