Job summary

Travelers is seeking an Assistant Vice President of Data & Analytics Architecture to shape the long-term strategy across Enterprise Data Products & Enablement. You will lead architects and engineers, driving scalable data platforms and AI-enabled solutions for the EDDA organization.

Based in Hartford with hybrid or in-office options, you will partner with executive leadership to set priorities, invest in talent, and ensure architecture aligns with business objectives and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor in a technology field with 10+ years architecture experience.
• Advanced hands-on engineering experience with modern technologies.
• Proven track record delivering large-scale technology strategies.
• Strong executive leadership with ability to mentor architects and engineers.
• Insurance/financial services industry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Define target state technology architecture and roadmaps.
• Lead architecture teams and align initiatives with standards and objectives.
• Drive modernization while minimizing technical debt.
