Job summary

Airbus Helicopters, based in Columbus, MS, seeks a Senior Electrical Aircraft Technician to join the H125 Final Assembly Line. You will work on avionics, assemble, repair, and install electrical/electronic components, and support helicopter programs.

Strong blueprint reading and FAA compliance are essential. Ideal candidates have six+ years of avionics experience, can interpret blueprints, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum of six (6) years of experience working on avionics in aircraft, preferably rotorcraft.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, sketches and diagrams, and apply standard shop practices.
• Able to independently assess wiring issues and install components.

Responsibilities

• Perform assembly, installation, repair or replacement of aircraft electrical/electronic components and systems.
• Maintain close working relationship with assigned lead regarding schedules, parts, tools and instructions.
• Complete forms and records pertaining to completion of assigned work.
• Ensure completed work complies with FAA regulations and customer requirements.
• Coordinate with departments regarding materials, supplies and job schedules.
