Job summary

Airbus Helicopters, Inc. in Columbus, MS is seeking a Senior Aircraft Avionics Technician for our New Helicopter Completions team on a temporary contract via a third‑party vendor.

You will assemble, install, repair or replace aircraft electrical/electronic components and systems and perform function checks. Requirements include a minimum of six years avionics experience on aircraft (rotorcraft preferred) and the ability to read blueprints and service manuals.

Qualifications

• Six years of avionics experience on aircraft, rotorcraft preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints, sketches and diagrams and interpret manuals.
• English language reading/writing/speaking ability.

Responsibilities

• Maintain close working relationship with assigned lead regarding schedules, priorities, parts availability and instructions.
• Assemble, install, repair or replace electrical/electronic components and systems on aircraft.
• Perform function checks and ensure compliance with FAA regulations and customer requirements.
• Work from blueprints, sketches and service manuals to meet specifications.
