Job summary

Airbus Helicopters is seeking a Senior Electrical Aircraft Technician to join the H125 Final Assembly Line in Columbus, MS. You’ll perform avionics-related assembly, installation, and repair on aircraft and parts, ensuring work meets FAA and company specs.

The role involves working on electrical/electronic systems, reading blueprints and diagrams, and coordinating with leads and other departments. This is a contract position with third-party staffing, primarily onsite in Columbus.

Qualifications

• Minimum of six years of avionics experience on aircraft ( rotorcraft preferred).
• Ability to read blueprints, sketches and diagrams and apply standard shop practices.
• English reading, writing and speaking required.

Responsibilities

• Perform assembly, installation, repair or replacement of aircraft electrical/electronic components and systems.
• Maintain close working relationship with lead regarding schedules, parts, supplies and tools.
• Work from blueprints, sketches and service manuals to meet specifications.
• Use standard hand tools, power equipment and test devices to complete tasks.
• Ensure all work complies with FAA regulations and company specs.
• Coordinate with departments for materials, equipment and job schedules.
• Complete forms and records for completion of assigned work.
