Job summary

ACET is seeking an experienced Avionics Technician II at Camp Pendleton, CA to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair complex electrical systems and avionics suites. You will lead field teams, prioritize workloads, and contribute to engineering changes while signing off peer work.

The position requires advanced knowledge of aircraft electrical theory and the ability to read electrical diagrams and blueprints. DoD clearance is required or able to obtain.

Qualifications

• DoD Secret Clearance required or ability to obtain.
• Advanced knowledge of aircraft electrical theory and avionics integration.
• Experience in general airframe maintenance and powerplant troubleshooting.
• Ability to read electrical diagrams, blueprints and technical data sheets.
• Strong mentoring and schedule management skills.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, and modify aircraft electrical systems, wiring harnesses, avionics components, and interconnected electrical networks of moderate difficulty.
• Diagnose malfunctions; repair broader aircraft components including flight controls, engines, hydraulics, pneumatics, fuel systems, and mechanical assemblies.
• Provide technical data inputs for MEC and ECOD; assist in modifying MWOs.
• Lead maintenance teams through complex electrical tasks and oversee QA of peer work by Avionics Technician I.
• Interpret and apply wiring schematics, blueprints, and manuals to solve advanced issues.
• Operate avionics test equipment and basic tooling for integration tasks.
• Document maintenance actions in aircraft logs and records.
