Job summary

Airbus Helicopters, Inc. is seeking an Aircraft Electrical Technician A to join the H145 Final Assembly Line team in Columbus, MS.

You will install and test electrical/electronic components on aircraft, read plans, and verify proper functioning of systems during build, repair, and refurbishment projects. Qualifications include a minimum of four years' aircraft electrical experience, familiarity with avionics/cabling, and the ability to read, write and speak English.

Qualifications

• Minimum of four (4) years of aircraft electrical or related experience.
• Avionics and Cabling Class desirable.
• Must be able to read, write, and speak English.
• Familiarity with common aviation type tooling.

Responsibilities

• Install electrical components and systems on aircraft.
• Read and follow detailed plans and diagrams for wiring and components.
• Lay-in route wires on form board, tie, lace and apply anti-chaff protection.
• Install solder shields, splices, daisy chains and various electronic components.
• Solder connectors, contacts and components.
• Complete forms and records pertaining to completed work.
