Job summary

Greenpoint Technologies is seeking a senior avionics technician to install, modify, maintain, and troubleshoot avionics on VIP aircraft. You will mentor less experienced technicians and ensure compliance with manuals, wiring diagrams, and engineering orders.

Role requires DOT/FAA safety compliance, strong documentation skills, and ability to interpret complex schematics. Emphasis on quality and on-time delivery in a high-end aviation environment.

Qualifications

• 5–7 avionics experience preferred.
• Familiar with the Standard Wiring Practices Manual.
• Airframe (A) or Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) License preferred.
• B1, B1.1, and/or B2 certification is a plus.
• Safety-sensitive role subject to DOT/FAA drug testing.

Responsibilities

• Install, modify, maintain, and troubleshoot avionics on VIP aircraft.
• Interpret maintenance manuals, service bulletins, wire diagrams, and drawings.
• Fabricate wire bundles and terminate wires into contacts and connectors.
• Document work daily using standard format; prepare routine reports.
