Job summary

Greenpoint Technologies is seeking a VIP Interior Mechanic III to lead and perform high‑level installations, fabrication, and troubleshooting for VIP aircraft interiors. You will supervise junior technicians, ensure compliance with DOT/FAA and company standards, and coordinate with engineering for complex projects.

The role requires extensive hands-on work with wood, composite materials, and interior components, with frequent reading of blueprints and manuals.

Qualifications

VIP interior installation and fabrication experience.
Wood, honeycomb, fiberglass, sheet metal and veneers knowledge.
Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
Ability to lead less-experienced mechanics.
Proficiency reading blueprints, engineering drawings, and manuals.
Ability to communicate in English (read, write, and verbal).
Willingness to travel as required.

Responsibilities

Oversee and co-sign for uncertified mechanics per company procedures.
Provide on-the-job training through mentoring and work assignments.
Assist leads with planning, production, and quality assurance of projects.
Gather information to submit to Engineering as needed.
Manufacture and fabricate interior components and monuments from raw materials.
Fabricate, trim, and install interior components (galleys, bulkheads, doors, etc.).
Read blueprints and work orders to perform duties.
Troubleshoot and repair cabinetry and interior components; maintain inventory and protections.
Diagnose problems, replace parts, and test adjustments.
Communicate progress and issues to staff; complete assignments timely.
