Job summary

Greenpoint Technologies is seeking a Senior avionics technician to install, modify, maintain and troubleshoot avionics on VIP aircraft. You will mentor junior technicians and ensure accurate documentation of all work performed while coordinating with the client and Greenpoint standards.

Requirements include 5-7 years avionics experience, familiarity with the Standard Wiring Practices Manual, and preferred A&P or equivalent licenses.

Qualifications

• 5-7 avionics experience preferred.
• Familiar with the Standard Wiring Practices Manual.
• Airframe (A) or A&P license preferred; B1/B1.1/B2 cert a plus.
• Employees on DOT-regulated programs may require drug testing.

Responsibilities

• Install, modify, maintain, and integrate avionics across aircraft systems.
• Interpret maintenance manuals, service bulletins, diagrams and drawings.
• Document work daily using standard formats and prepare reports.
• Fabricate wire bundles and terminate wires per drawings and contacts.
• Troubleshoot, replace parts, test, and make adjustments.
• Operate ground support and test equipment as required.
