Job summary

Greenpoint Technologies is seeking an entry-level avionics technician to support installation, modification, maintenance and software loading on VIP aircraft. You will interpret manuals, drawings and orders, and help troubleshoot and document work daily.

This role emphasizes adherence to standard practices, safety, and precise wire fabrication. A&P licensing is preferred but not required, with on-site duties in Moses Lake, WA.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of avionics installation, modification, maintenance and system integration.
• Ability to interpret manuals, service bulletins, wire diagrams and drawings.
• Willingness to assist with troubleshooting and part replacement.

Responsibilities

• Possesses basic knowledge of avionics installation, modification, maintenance, and system integration across all aircraft systems.
• Accurately interpret maintenance manuals, service bulletins, wire diagrams, system schematics, drawings, engineering orders and other documents.
• Modify, repair, replace, or perform routine aircraft maintenance work in specialized area of aircraft.
• Properly utilize and maintain Avionics hand tools to perform repairs and installations.
• Accurately document work performed daily using the standard format.
• Fabricate wire bundles and assemblies to drawings and standard practices.
• Assist with troubleshooting, replacement, or repair of parts, testing and adjustments.
• Operate ground support equipment as required.
• Help with general clean-up of work area.
• Responsible for accurately clocking to jobs.
• Regular and prompt attendance.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
