Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking an Avionics Integrator for the Crewed Lander within the Lunar Permanence unit. You will lead cross-functional studies, define interfaces, and manage avionics requirements to support safe human spaceflight. Collaboration with NASA and national teams is expected.

The role emphasizes leadership, communication, and rigorous analysis across subsystems to advance the Lunar Transportation system enabling sustainable lunar missions.

Qualifications

• B.S. in a technical field as listed (Aerospace, Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, CS).
• 8+ years in full life cycle avionics development (requirements, design, integration, test, operations).
• Experience integrating spacecraft subsystems (Avionics, Software, Structures, GNC, power).
• Define and manage communication protocols.
• Understand electrical interfaces (Serial Bus, video, audio, Ethernet, sensors).
• Strong systems engineering practices and safety-critical systems knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Negotiate between stakeholders to optimize spacecraft design.
• Lead avionics architecture studies, concept development, verification planning, integration, and operations support.
• Manage avionics requirements development and maturity.
• Develop and maintain ICDs and interface control documents.
• Maintain data and communication budgets and integrated electrical diagrams.
• Coordinate constraints across disciplines and manage design changes.
