Job summary

SimVentions is seeking a mid-level to senior software-focused Systems Engineer for software systems engineering across acquisition, development, and sustainment of aviation programs. This full-time role requires on-site presence at the NAVAIR base in PAX River, MD, and an active Secret clearance with potential Top Secret in the future.

Qualifications

Ten years+ experience in software and systems engineering.
Experience with military aircraft avionic systems and/or software.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain software requirements.
Review and evaluate vendor software specifications.
Coordinate with vendors on software and system integration.
Analyze software defects; coordinate with cybersecurity SMEs.
Participate in SE technical reviews (SRRs, SSRs, PDRs, CDRs, TRRs).
Support ECP process and SOW/CDRL preparation.
Develop IGCEs and assist technical evaluations of contractor proposals.
