Job summary

Honeywell Aerospace seeks a Sr Advanced Systems Engineer to join the Display Services team in Aguadilla, PR, focusing on the Anthem Next Generation Avionics project. You will define software requirements, oversee integration, and ensure certification readiness across hardware, software, and networks.

You will report to the Sr Engineering Manager, with 90 days onsite before a hybrid 3/2 schedule. Relocation assistance is provided for this role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline and 8+ years in avionics systems engineering or project leadership.
• 5+ years in systems integration, implementation, troubleshooting, and advanced engineering technologies.
• Fluent English communication and ability to work in a global team.

Responsibilities

• Develop, integrate, and verify core Display Apps on the Next Generation Avionics Platform.
• Lead avionics or embedded systems development and requirements definition.
• Support design and development of hardware, software, and network components.
• Direct successful execution of complex engineering projects.
• Enforce security measures and regulatory compliance across systems.
• Lead deployment and configuration, ensuring proper installation and testing.
• Provide technical leadership to resolve system issues and minimize downtime.
• Test and integrate on lab benches; perform system verification and validation.
• Travel up to 10% as needed.
