Job summary
Honeywell Aerospace in Aguadilla, PR is seeking a Lead Software Engineer for Display Services (Finance) to design, develop and integrate complex software for the Anthem Next Generation Avionics project. You will work with cross-functional teams to define requirements and ensure certification compliance.
Requires a Bachelor's in software engineering, 10+ years in software, strong C++ and OO, experience with Agile/Scrum, embedded systems and DO-178C.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline (Software Engineering or related)
- Minimum of 10 years of software development experience
- Strong C++ or object-oriented programming skills
- Experience with Agile or Scrum development methodologies
- Strong software architecture and design development skills
Responsibilities
- Development, systems integration and verification of core Display applications
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define software requirements and specifications
- Implement software solutions meeting performance, security and scalability requirements
- Conduct code reviews and provide feedback to team members
- Testing and integration on test benches in labs
- Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in software development
