Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking a Senior Avionics Systems Engineer for the Lunar Permanence team to contribute to the Blue Moon landers and related infrastructure, enabling crew and cargo transport to the lunar surface.

Responsibilities include leading C&D architecture studies, requirements management, verification planning, and network architecture across multiple subsystems, with emphasis on safety-critical systems and timely delivery.

Responsibilities

• Lead or contribute to C&D architecture trade studies and verification planning.
• Analyze requirements at subsystem level and flow down to components.
• Generate verification plans and support Integration & Test teams.
• Develop and manage network architecture for multiple subsystems.
• Create C&D fault trees and reliability analyses across lifecycle.
• Produce technical documentation: interfaces, specifications, and analyses.
• Contribute to design reviews (SRR, PDR, CDR) and ensure artifact quality.
• Provide technical mentorship and peer review within avionics team.
