True Anomaly, Inc. is hiring a Subsystem Lead to own the avionics subsystem across space vehicle programs. You will be responsible for design, analysis, build, test, and delivery, working with engineers and technicians under the Avionics team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Computer, or Aerospace Engineering.
• 5+ years designing, building, and testing avionics or electrical hardware for flight, space, or defense programs.
• Ability to own a subsystem through full lifecycle phases (design, build, test, operations).
• Experience writing and managing subsystem specifications, ICDs, and verification matrices.
• Experience leading design reviews and test readiness reviews.
• Experience working with suppliers: SOWs, technical evaluations, acceptance data review.

Responsabilités

• Deliver the subsystem within cost targets and schedule; run trades and escalate as needed.
• Own subsystem requirements and verification; create specs and keep the verification matrix complete.
• Manage interfaces with adjacent subsystems; maintain ICDs and resolve issues.
• Drive the schedule; plan work, update IMS milestones, and flag slips with recovery options.
• Report TPMs for the subsystem and maintain the risk register and mitigations.
• Lead design reviews (PDR/CDR/TRR) with supporting analysis.
• Manage suppliers; write SOWs and review proposals, witness testing.
• Coordinate build, test, integration, and on-orbit operations; support anomaly investigations.
