Moog Avionics in Mineral Wells, TX seeks a Senior Software Engineer to design, develop, and integrate avionics software for flight control systems. You will lead software development efforts, establish technical standards, and advise management on advanced engineering applications on large-scale projects.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required in Electrical/Computer/Mechanical/Aerospace Engineering or related field.
Minimum five years' technical engineering experience with product requirements.
Expert knowledge of design tools and DO-178B/C software lifecycle.

Responsibilities

Contribute to software for avionics and flight control systems.
Develop system/software requirements and testing tools.
Perform software/system integration and validation activities.
Create technical documentation and assist in certification projects (TSO/STC).
Provide guidance and coaching to junior engineers.
