Job summary
Honeywell Aerospace is seeking a Senior Avionics Systems Engineer for the Next Generation Avionics Aircraft Data Network at the Deer Valley/Phoenix site on a hybrid schedule. You will lead design, integration and verification of the data network and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliant, high-performance avionics software.
Requirements include a Bachelor's in a technical field and 6+ years of systems engineering experience, with familiarity in DO-178/DO-254 and ARP4754
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering or math.
- Minimum of 6 years of systems engineering experience including design, architecture, integration and troubleshooting.
- Experience with engineering tools and technologies relevant to systems development.
Responsibilities
- Drive design, development, integration and verification of the Aircraft Data Network.
- Perform requirements analysis, system architecture development, integration testing and validation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure avionics software meets requirements and performance specs.
- Stay current with industry trends and advancements in avionics.
