Job summary

Actalent seeks an Electronics/Electrical Design Engineer to translate avionics design requirements into high-quality analog and digital circuit board designs. You will own the full lifecycle from component selection to layout, simulation, documentation, and test procedures for CCAs used in aerospace systems.

Responsibilities include selecting aerospace-grade components, performing simulations, creating detailed schematics and layouts, and ensuring compliance with FAA and aerospace standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 7+ years of board design experience, preferably in aerospace.
• Proven electronics design experience for aerospace applications.
• Hands-on CCA design, including card-level architecture and layouts.
• Ability to read and design complex schematics and PCB layouts.
• Experience with Altium or similar CAD tools.

Responsibilities

• Translate avionics design requirements into detailed analog and digital circuit board designs.
• Select components to meet performance, reliability, and regulatory requirements.
• Perform simulations to validate designs for functional and environmental specs.
• Create and maintain schematics and layouts for CCAs.
• Develop documentation and test procedures for avionics boards.
