Job summary

Anduril Industries in California seeks an experienced Electrical Engineer to lead full cycle PCB design for advanced avionics in Thunder. You will capture requirements, design schematics, select components, supervise layout, bring-up, and test integrated with the system. Role requires 5+ years in complex board designs, Altium proficiency, and hands-on testing with scopes and analyzers.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent and 5+ years designing complex boards.
  • Experience with test equipment and automated testing.
  • Familiarity with CAN, I2C, SPI, PCIe and USB interfaces.
  • Familiarity with Ethernet/PCIe/HDMI buses and MCU/FPGA devices.
  • Ability to design for signal and power integrity and CAD tools like Altium.
  • U.S. Person status required for export-controlled data access.

Responsibilities

  • Full cycle PCB design from requirements to layout, bring-up, test, and integration.
  • Develop avionics systems including flight controls, sensors, and networking.
  • Collaborate with other subsystems and perform design reviews.
  • Build and test avionics components in lab, ground, and flight tests.
  • Develop hardware bring-up and validation test plans.
