Job summary

Alumni Founders seeks a senior mechanical/aerospace engineer to own the design, development, and delivery of hardware for next-generation space science avionics, including enclosures and mounting structures.

You will tackle thermal and structural challenges to ensure hardware survives launch and space environments, collaborating with CAD/analysis, test, and integration teams to optimize performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering with 5+ years in aerospace mechanical design.
• Proficiency in CAD and analysis tools.
• Hands-on hardware testing experience is essential.
• Ability to solve complex thermal and structural challenges for space environments.
