Job summary
Tactical Air Support Inc. seeks an experienced Avionics Mechanic III to support a fleet of fighter aircraft at Hill AFB, Utah.
You will perform organizational, intermediate, and limited depot-level maintenance on electrical and avionics systems, perform inspections, tests, repairs, and modifications, and provide guidance to junior technicians. The ideal candidate has 5–6 years of avionics/aircraft maintenance, U.S.
Qualifications
- HS diploma or equivalent with 5–6 years in avionics/aircraft maintenance.
- US citizenship and ability to obtain DoD clearance.
- Experience with Radar/Integrated Weapons systems.
- Experience with high-performance military aircraft (F-5/T-38).
- Experience modifying F-5 aircraft with Garmin and Mission Systems.
- Experience with aircraft wiring modifications.
- Regular travel to various U.S. sites may be required.
- Valid state driver license.
- A&P certification preferred.
Responsibilities
- Perform organizational, intermediate, and limited depot-level maintenance on electrical/avionic systems.
- Inspect, test, repair, modify, and troubleshoot assigned aircraft systems.
- Provide technical guidance and training to teammates as needed.
