Rocket Lab Robotics in Pasadena, CA seeks a Senior Avionics Manufacturing Engineer I to design, implement, and optimize avionics production processes for high‑performance space hardware. You will partner with design, production, quality, and supply chain teams to translate designs into repeatable manufacturing workflows.

This onsite role requires a BS in engineering, 5+ years in avionics manufacturing, and US citizenship.

Qualifications

• BS in electrical, manufacturing, or aerospace engineering is required.
• 5+ years in an avionics manufacturing environment.
• Experience with manufacturing processes, work instructions, or test procedures.

Responsibilities

• Work with design engineers to improve reliability of electromechanical assemblies and test fixtures.
• Review fabrication docs and provide manufacturability feedback to improve build efficiency.
• Develop build methods to increase throughput and reduce errors.
• Create and maintain production travelers and process documentation.
• Lead design reviews for manufacturability and test.
