Job summary

Aleron is seeking an Avionics Manufacturing Engineer III in Leander, Texas, for a direct-hire role with a monthly compensation of $111K–$120K per year. You will lead in-house production scale-up, work with electronic box build, battery build, and cable harness build, and drive continuous improvement across design and manufacturing teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering.
• 5+ years experience with electronic box build, battery build, or cable harness build.
• 5+ years experience with continuous improvement through problem solving.
• 5+ years experience with design, manufacturing, and production of mechanical or electrical hardware (including internships and collegiate projects).

Responsibilities

• Optimize and automate manufacturing and test processes to improve quality and throughput.
• Oversee introduction and implementation of new products and product revisions.
• Resolve non-conformances in production and implement root-cause corrective actions.
• Collaborate with design to optimize manufacturability and standardization.
• Plan and execute capital equipment, machine and layout upgrades with stakeholders.
