Job summary

West Star Aviation Inc. in Chattanooga, TN is seeking a Bombardier Lead, Avionics Repair Technician to supervise a team of technicians, perform complex electrical, electronic and instrument system troubleshooting, and ensure quality workmanship across multiple projects.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Electrical tech school.
• Aircraft-specific factory training is preferred.
• A valid driver’s license approved for airline travel and/or a valid passport is ideal, but not mandatory.
• Aircraft specific factory training is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the team to complete the necessary jobs/tasks with sound judgment.
• Oversee turnover of work to the next shift.
• Reducing turn time of aircraft within area of responsibility.
• Train/mentor technicians on projects.
• Supervise team members in daily workload and ensure scheduling and quality.
