Job summary

West Star Aviation is seeking an Avionics Repair Team Lead to supervise a team of avionics technicians, direct project flow, and ensure compliance with FAA regulations. This role requires experience in aircraft maintenance and strong leadership to drive quality and efficiency.

The position involves coordinating schedules, maintaining documentation, and facilitating training while supporting multiple projects in a fast-paced hangar environment in the United States.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in aircraft maintenance/avionics with supervision of 4+ technicians.
• Advanced knowledge of FAA paperwork, work orders and use of Corridor systems.

Responsibilities

• Supervise multiple avionics technicians and guide project flow.
• Oversee daily technician work schedules and resource needs to meet aircraft deliveries.
• Ensure compliance with aviation regulations and safety protocols.
• Conduct regular audits to maintain service quality and QA standards.
• Coordinate and conduct team training to build skill proficiency.
• Identify and implement process improvements to boost efficiency.
• Manage hangar space, tools, and equipment and ensure proper storage.
