Job summary

Blue Origin LLC in the United States is seeking an experienced avionics hardware engineer to join the New Glenn program. You will design avionics boards, support the full product lifecycle, and contribute to safe, reliable spaceflight systems that enable bold missions.

The role requires 10+ years of hardware development, hands-on expertise with analog/digital/mixed-signal circuits, power electronics, and signal integrity, plus strong communication and teamwork.

Qualifications

  • Undergraduate degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering with 10+ years in electronics hardware development.
  • Hands-on experience developing sophisticated aerospace electronic assemblies.
  • Experience with analog, digital and mixed-signal circuits, testing and layout.
  • Knowledge of signal conditioning and power electronics.
  • Strong technical communication skills (written and verbal).

Responsibilities

  • Develop avionics hardware (boards and assemblies).
  • Support full product lifecycle from concept to production release.
  • Develop analog and digital boards interfacing with avionics systems.
  • Support architecture trades, performance characterization and roadmap direction.
  • Support risk analyses, DFx, and root-cause analysis of test discrepancies.
  • Contribute to mission assurance and safety initiatives.
