Job summary

Credence has an immediate opening for an Avionics Hardware Engineering Support at the senior level who will be primarily responsible for supporting the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center WAM (AFLCMC/WAM) directorate, F-16 division at Wright Patterson AFB, OH.

The role focuses on system design, hardware-software integration, and test support for mission computers, with emphasis on open architectures and DoD collaboration to ensure airworthiness and mission readiness.

Qualifications

• Active Top-Secret security clearance required.
• ABET-accredited engineering degree from an accredited program.
• Ten+ years of DoD or fighter aircraft avionics experience.

Responsibilities

• Support System Design and Development of computer systems and components.
• Assist next-generation mission computer procurement and integration.
• Coordinate with software developers for airworthiness approvals.
• Design and modify software systems using analytical methods.
• Integrate embedded hardware and software to work together.
• Provide ongoing technical support and issue resolution.
• Support weapons integration and test efforts for munitions.
• Prepare reports on project specifications and status.
• Derive and verify engineering requirements for upgrades.
