Job summary

Credence has an immediate opening for an Avionics Software Engineering Support at the senior level to support the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center WAM directorate, F-16 division at Wright Patterson AFB, OH.

This role focuses on developing OFP software and avionics upgrades for a major USAF program, with responsibilities spanning design, integration, verification, and fielding of mission-critical systems. A strong engineering background and DoD experience are essential.

Qualifications

Active or current top-secret security clearance verifiable in DISS.
Undergraduate degree in engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
Master's/Doctoral degree or 12+ years of DoD experience; or 15+ years with proper certifications; ABET/engineering background recommended.
Experience with OFP development and translating/re-hosting programs to newer languages/processors; C++ expertise recommended.

Responsibilities

Support development of Operational Flight Program (OFP) software for a major USAF F-16 upgrade program.
Support design, integration, verification, and airworthiness certification of F-16 software and related systems.
Assist in monitoring prime contractor development of Systems Integration Lab (SIL).
Support Warfighter Council Review meetings and Pilot Early Look meetings to define requirements and interdependencies.
Resolve Software Program Anomaly Reports (SPARs) and related defects.
