Job summary
Credence is seeking an Avionics Software Engineering Support at senior level to support AFLCMC/WAM F-16 upgrade programs. Responsibilities include OFP software development, integration, verification, and fielding across multiple bases, with emphasis on mission-critical avionics upgrades and airworthiness certification.
The role requires an active Top Secret clearance, ABET-accredited engineering degree, and extensive DoD experience.
Qualifications
- Must have an active or current top-secret security clearance verifiable in DISS.
- ABET-accredited degree in electrical/computer engineering as required for DoD roles; degree must be ABET-accredited.
- Master’s or Doctoral degree with 10+ years of DoD experience, five of which are in DoD.
- Bachelor’s degree with 12+ years of DoD experience, five of which are in DoD.
- 15+ years of directly related experience with proper DoD certifications, eight of which must be in DoD.
Responsibilities
- Support development of OFP software for a major USAF F-16 upgrade program with avionics upgrades.
- Assist in integration, verification, qualification for airworthiness, and fielding of F-16 software including OFP, radar, and display processors.
- Assist in monitoring prime contractor development of a new SIL.
- Support Warfighter Council Review and Pilot Vehicle Interface requirements definition and changes.
- Assist in resolving Software Program Anomaly Reports (SPARs) and related defects.
