Northrop Grumman’s Aeronautics Systems sector is seeking a Principal Engineer Electronics for an onsite role in Oklahoma City, OK. You will develop and execute the program as a responsible engineer for COMMs avionics subsystems and collaborate with subcontractors to meet performance and environmental requirements.

The position requires a STEM degree with several years of related experience, an active DoD Secret clearance, and the ability to obtain SAP access.

Qualificações

• Bachelor of Science in STEM with 5 years of related engineering experience or Master’s with 3 years.
• Experience designing, configuring, and installing avionics subsystems.
• Active DoD Secret clearance.
• Ability to obtain and maintain SAP access.

Responsabilidades

• Perform SOW as Responsible Engineer (RE) for COMMs Avionics Subsystem(s).
• Manage program requirements to ensure supplier compliance with program and AV design, test, document and Avionics COMMs subsystems hardware requirements.
• Document designs using detailed schematics, diagrams, and specifications.
• Collaborate with Subcontract engineers and stakeholders to implement subsystem performance and environmental requirements.
• Work to develop design solutions for obsolete hardware.
• Travel up to 25%.
