Job summary

Gulfstream Aerospace Corporation in Mesa, AZ is seeking an Avionics/Electrical Technician III on the second shift. You will perform testing, troubleshooting and repair of avionics/electronic aircraft systems to ensure defect-free aircraft and meet schedule.

Requires HS diploma/GED and 5 years in avionics/electrical; 2 years of accredited schooling may offset experience. A&P/FCC/NCATT preferred.

Qualifications

• Requires High School Diploma or GED and 5 years in avionics/electrical career field.
• 2 years of accredited schooling in aviation electronics may offset two years of experience.
• A&P license, FCC license or NCATT certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates superior technical skills in avionics and ACFT systems testing and troubleshooting.
• Teaches installation and functional testing of electrical/avionics components per specifications and manuals.
• Ensures quality and efficiency of all installations; troubleshoots and repairs to meet schedule and quality.
• Demonstrates repair techniques including splicing, soldering and pinning of wiring to meet conformity.
• Coordinates with other disciplines concerning projects and enforces safety programs.
