Job summary

Gulfstream Aerospace in Fort Worth seeks an experienced RS Avionics/Electrical Tech IV to provide leadership and hands-on expertise in avionics and aircraft systems. You will perform operational testing, troubleshooting and repairs to ensure a defect-free aircraft and compliance with safety and quality standards.

The role requires strong wiring, splicing, soldering, and documentation skills, along with the ability to train others and adapt to schedule changes.

Qualifications

• Six years experience in avionics/electrical career field; or two years of accredited schooling in aviation electronics and four years related experience.
• A&P, FCC or NCATT license or certification preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret basic blueprints and schematic diagrams.
• Must read, write, speak, and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates superior technical skills in avionics and aircraft systems testing and troubleshooting.
• Taught installation and functional testing of electrical/avionics components per specifications and manuals.
• Ensures quality and efficiency of all installations and timely repairs.
• Oversees adherence to engineering changes and modifications, and documents work.
