Job summary

Gulfstream in Fort Worth seeks an RS Avionics/Electrical Tech IV to lead, test, and repair avionics systems. The role provides technical guidance and training while performing advanced operational tests to ensure defect-free aircraft and adherence to safety standards.

The incumbent will troubleshoot, install, and test electrical/avionics components per engineering drawings and manuals, helping reduce schedule impact and maintain quality and performance across systems.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Six (6) years experience in an avionics/electrical career field; or two (2) years of accredited schooling in aviation electronics and four (4) years related experience.
• A&P license, FCC license or NCATT certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates superior technical skills and expertise in avionics and aircraft systems operational testing and troubleshooting.
• Provides direct training to personnel to support cross-training goals while ensuring safety and quality.
• Teaches installation and functional testing of electrical/avionics components per specifications and manuals to ensure a defect-free system.
• Troubleshoots and teaches troubleshooting processes to provide timely, quality repairs of malfunctioning systems.
