Job summary

Blue Origin in Merritt Island, Florida seeks a Component Engineer to play a vital role in developing the Blue Moon landers for lunar transport. Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in component and parts management, avionics hardware development, integration, and/or test.
• Ability to assess the Bill of Materials for avionics designs against approved vendor/component parts lists and standards.
• Experience with managing part change notifications and assessing impact.

Responsibilities

• Utilize features of PLM software systems to improve product/component approval visibility.
• Lead program-wide component level assessment and evaluation activities.
• Develop component level requirements and assist in design solutions.
