Job summary

The Boeing Company in Missouri seeks a Core Avionics Engineer (Level 3) to join the Mission Systems ANC Avionics Team for avionics development and integration in Berkeley, MO.

As a technical leader, you will drive technical execution across communication, navigation, identification, timing and stores management systems, oversee approaches, design interfaces, and ensure compliance with program and company processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (with a focus in Electrical, Mechanical or Aeronautical) or related fields.
• Level 3: 5+ years of work-related experience with a bachelor's or 3+ years with a Masters/PhD.

Responsibilities

• Drives technical excellence for Avionics development and integration activities spanning multiple systems (Communication, Navigation & Identification, Timing Distribution, Stores Management).
• Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes; interfaces with program managers and engineers.
• Support the design of hardware, software and interface specifications.
• Tests and validates system designs meet operational and functional requirements.
• Develops tests to evaluate components and subsystems.
• Monitors supplier performance to ensure system integration and compliance with requirements.
• Utilizes Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) practices.
