Job summary

Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) is seeking a Core Avionics Engineer (Level 3) to join the Mission Systems Aviate, Navigate, Communicate (ANC) Avionics Team for avionics development and integration in Berkeley, MO. You will provide technical leadership and drive technical execution in the development of new avionics systems and integration of existing and modified equipment into new platforms.

The position is 100% onsite and requires U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering or related field.
• Level 3 requires 5+ years of work experience or 3+ years with a Masters/PhD.
• US citizenship and ability to obtain a security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Drives technical excellence for avionics development and integration across Communication, Navigation, Identification, Timing Distribution, and Stores Management Systems.
• Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes with program leadership.
• Supports hardware, software and interface specifications design.
• Tests and validates system designs meet operational and functional requirements.
• Develops tests to evaluate components and subsystems.
• Monitors supplier performance to ensure integration and compliance with requirements.
