Job summary

The Gogo Business Aviation Senior Field Support Engineer, Aviation-Northeast, delivers high-quality technical support and customer service for aviation satellite communications and inflight connectivity systems. You will troubleshoot and resolve post-installation issues, provide onsite and remote assistance, and train customers and dealers to ensure product performance and satisfaction.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Avionics, Aviation or related field.
5+ years in the aviation industry.
4+ years of product support in satcom, aviation connectivity, or related field preferred.
Located near a major airport in PA or NJ or willing to relocate for on-wing support.
Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 50%.
This is a safety-sensitive role with pre-employment and random drug testing.

Responsibilities

Provide telephone, remote, and onsite technical support to customers, dealers, and OEMs.
Troubleshoot complex issues involving connectivity, network performance, and system installations.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve escalated issues and improve service outcomes.
Conduct training for customers and dealers on system usage and service compatibility.
Document root cause findings and maintain accurate case records and technical docs.
Travel as needed to provide on-site support and demonstrations at OEM facilities or customer sites.
