Job summary

WSP USA is seeking an Aviation Project Manager to lead planning, design and delivery of complex airport infrastructure in the San Francisco Bay Area. You will guide multidisciplinary teams and advise airport clients, shaping Northern California aviation programs.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • 10+ years managing complex infrastructure, transportation, aviation, or airport projects.
  • Experience leading multidisciplinary projects through design and construction.
  • Experience leading multidisciplinary project teams.
  • Experience managing scopes, budgets, schedules, contracts, risks, and client relationships.
  • Strong project controls, risk management, and stakeholder coordination.
  • Ability to understand and manage technical requirements across disciplines.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and priorities.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with clients, contractors, regulators, and internal teams.

Responsibilities

  • Lead planning, design, and delivery of complex airport infrastructure projects.
  • Direct multidisciplinary teams of engineers, planners, architects, and specialists.
  • Develop and manage scopes, schedules, budgets, staffing, and risk plans.
  • Monitor performance and report on schedule, budget, quality, risk, and milestones.
  • Coordinate with airport authorities, airlines, FAA, contractors, and consultants.
  • Facilitate project meetings and communications with clients and teams.
  • Oversee financial performance, resource utilization, and contract administration.
  • Review design deliverables and ensure quality-control documentation.
  • Identify risks and drive resolution of technical and stakeholder issues.
  • Support business development, proposals, and client relationships.
  • Mentor junior staff and contribute to the aviation practice's growth.
  • Participate in industry organizations and networking activities as appropriate.
