Job summary

Sierra Nevada Corporation (SNC) seeks an aviation maintenance planner to develop and manage detailed work packages, task cards, and routings for scheduled and unscheduled maintenance. You will forecast long-range needs, coordinate with Engineering, Materials, Maintenance, and QA to ensure parts and data availability, and maintain tracking systems to reflect current status.

Ideal candidates have at least 4 years in aviation maintenance planning, strong FAA knowledge, and proficiency with MRO

Qualifications

• Minimum 4+ years of aviation maintenance planning experience.
• Strong working knowledge of FAA regulations and aircraft maintenance programs.
• Proficiency with maintenance tracking and MRO software systems.
• Ability to read and interpret maintenance manuals, wiring diagrams, ADs/SBs, and other technical docs.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Develop, review, and issue detailed maintenance work packages, task cards, and job routings for scheduled inspections, repairs, and modifications.
• Forecast and plan long-range maintenance requirements based on utilization and regulatory directives.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Materials/Supply Chain, Maintenance, and Quality Assurance to ensure parts and data are available before work execution.
• Maintain and update maintenance tracking systems to reflect current status and upcoming requirements.
• Analyze maintenance program data to identify trends and optimize task packaging.
