Job summary

The Port Authority is seeking a Senior Manager, Engineering & Construction to lead complex airport and aviation projects at Southwest Florida International Airport (RSW) and Page Field (FMY). This role reports to the Director of Engineering and Construction and demands extensive experience overseeing multi-disciplinary teams to keep schedules and budgets on track.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of engineering, construction management, or related experience on large government, public works, or airport projects.
• Florida driver's license within 30 days of hire.
• Degree in engineering, architecture, construction management/science or related field.

Responsibilities

• Manage complex projects with multi-disciplined architectural, engineering, and construction elements.
• Keep projects on schedule, on budget, and fully coordinated with stakeholders.
• Lead contract negotiations with designers, contractors, and consultants; oversee milestones and progress meetings.
• Coordinate with Port Authority divisions, regulatory agencies, consultants, contractors, tenants, and stakeholders.
• Develop and manage project budgets, schedules, and construction documents.
