AtkinsRéalis seeks a Senior Aviation Planner (AAM) for a hybrid role based in Florida to lead planning projects across airports and nationwide, focusing on advanced air mobility. You will coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to develop, evaluate, and deliver AAM and airport concepts that meet current and emerging requirements.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Planning or related field.
• Minimum five years' experience since a Bachelor's degree, or four years post Master's.
• Demonstrated knowledge of Advanced Air Mobility (AAM); current trends and players.
• Familiarity with airside and landside aviation planning projects including airports and AAM facilities.
• Knowledge of FAA Advisory Circulars (ACs), guidance, and regulatory standards for airport/heliport/vertiport design.
• Strong interpersonal and professional writing skills for internal teams and clients.
• Demonstrated interdisciplinary experience and collaboration with working groups and advisory committees.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; CAD-based software experience to support analysis and deliverables.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support development, evaluation, and delivery of airport and AAM planning projects.
• Apply FAA ACs and regulatory standards to ensure compliance across plans.
• Analyze aviation data related to operations, runway and airspace utilization, and facilities.
• Prepare high-quality reports, exhibits, and client deliverables.
• Support client communications with briefing materials and talking points on AAM topics.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and mentor junior staff.
