Job summary

Egis Group is seeking a Senior Aviation / AAM Planner to lead complex airport planning projects and support Emerging Aviation Mobility initiatives. The role combines traditional aviation planning with strategic growth in AAM, Vertiports, and next-gen aviation technologies.

The candidate will drive technical leadership, engage clients, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to expand AAM services and support airports and public agencies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in aviation management or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in airport planning.
• Experience providing AAM planning services.
• Knowledge of NEPA regulations and guidelines.
• Excellent written and oral communications skills.
• Project management experience.
• Business development experience.
• Deltek Vision experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic direction and technical leadership for AAM planning.
• Support planning and integration of AAM infrastructure (vertiports, etc.).
• Monitor FAA/regulatory developments and translate into planning strategies.
• Represent the firm at industry events and client workshops.
• Develop airport master plans and related planning documents.
• Coordinate with subconsultants and manage project schedules/costs.
• Review work and ensure adherence to Airport Master Plan requirements.
• Supervise teams handling airport planning studies and data.
