Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in biological research.
• Proven abilities in handling laboratory equipment and protocols.
• Strong organizational skills and laboratory record maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Culture avian embryonic stem cells and assess novel conditions.
• Inject stem cells into avian blastodiscs and characterize cell cultures.
• Collaborate with team to evaluate genome editing efficiency.

Skills

Experience with embryonic and iPSC cultures

Experience manipulating embryos under a microscope

Experience in cell line derivation, culture, propagation, and transfection methodologies

Experience in molecular biology

Strong written and oral communication skills

Creative problem-solving skills

Education

BA/BS/MA/MS in biological sciences, cell biology, bioengineering, molecular biology, genetics
