Job summary

Invenergy LLC is seeking a seasoned OT systems engineer specializing in AVEVA PI System administration to support data collection from SCADA, DCS, RTUs, and PLCs. You will manage PI Data Archive, AF, and related interfaces while enhancing system reliability and scalability.

You will collaborate with IT and Operations Engineering to upgrade infrastructure, automate maintenance, and deliver robust data pipelines for real-time control center operations.

Qualifications

• Five or more years administering enterprise-scale AVEVA PI environments.
• Strong understanding of TCP/IP networking concepts and troubleshooting.
• Proficiency in programming and scripting with .NET, PowerShell and Python.

Responsibilities

• Act as the subject matter expert for OT systems focusing on AVEVA PI System and data integrations.
• Configure and maintain data collection from OT platforms into the AVEVA PI System (SCADA, DCS, RTUs, PLCs).
• Investigate, evaluate, and integrate complex OT systems with the AVEVA PI System.
• Administer PI components including PI Data Archive, PI Collectives, AF, Interfaces, Connectors, AVEVA Connect, PI Web API, PI Vision.
• Lead efforts to improve PI System architecture, data integrations, and platform reliability.
• Coordinate IT stakeholders for infrastructure upgrades, patching, and maintenance.
• Develop automation for system maintenance and telemetry feeds using Python, PowerShell, and .NET.
• Lead investigation and resolution of PI System issues affecting performance and data availability.
• Maintain technical documentation and support data pipelines for Operations Engineering.
